This famous venue has high quality clay courts, improved and updated on 2012, and its facilities are known to be very modern and innovative, mainly due to the retractable roofs. Every year, around 20.000 people attend this sports competition, that has been described as one of the most important events in the tennis world. The main court of the venue, called Manolo Santana, has capacity for 12.500 attendees. Estadio 2-Estadio Arantxa Sánchez Vicario and Estadio 3 (estadio means court in Spanish) have 3.500 and 2.500 seats, respectively.

There are 6 bus lines that take you to the venue La Caja Mágica: Line 180, line 23, line 78, line T32, line 123 and line 3. There are buses available every 10 or 20 minutes and the service starts, in some cases, one hour before the first match and finishes one hour after the last one. Taxi or car are also good options to get to Mutua Madrid Open 2017: it is only a 20 minutes’ drive from The Principal Madrid and the Hotel Único Madrid. And you don’t have to worry about the parking spots because there is also a paid car park in the venue.
